Festival theme:This colorful and fun event is taking place almost at the same time in several Czech cities, famous for winemaking. Among them, Mikulov (Mikulov) Znojmo (Znojmo), Melnik (Melnik) and, of course, Prague.

In Mikulov, for example, you can see a procession led by King Wenceslas IV, accompanied by drummers, trumpeters and dancers, and folk events will give way to performances by current stars of the music.

Activities:The biggest celebration of wine in South Moravia held in Znojmo. Here visitors are attracted not only a diverse entertainment in the form of theatrical performances and concerts by famous artists, but above all, the traditional historical part of the holiday. It includes jousting tournaments, medieval Crafts Fair, and the main event is a festive costumed parade through the city. The main figures at the event are King John of Luxembourg and his wife Eliska Przhemyslovnoy. The celebration traditionally ends with a magnificent fireworks display, but very often the fun continues even after the official final triumph.
