Beautiful grounds, flower gardens, lots of landscape. Nice place to bring lunch and have a glass of wine. Excellent Chardonnay. We visited here with our friends Tom and Jen Kaminski – the girls bought matching hats in the store, walked the grounds, smelled the flowers, and came back to the wine tasting area to find us… As usual, we left a little tipsy – it’s just too much fun. Life is good!

This was the first winery I every visited and what a great place. It’s up in the north, not far from the ocean if you straightened out the curvy, 25mph road you need to take from the Sea Ranch area of California’s north coast. Annapolis is comfortable, casual, and fun. The people working the winery and pouring the wine are owners or family of the owners and that makes it fun. You’re always welcome to ask questions, see what’s currently going on, and take a bottle, or two, or three outside to drink under the apple trees.
They have several tables set up outside. We visited with a buddy of mine Kevin, and his girlfriend Lisa. After about 6 bottles in the sun it was time to head back. Annapolis also hosts outdoor weddings. The view from their land is nice - of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. We stop by every time we are in the area. We like their pinot and their sweet wines.

As you know from my detailed review, Viansa is a fun place to visit, taste wines, and have lunch. Live music outside, great wines inside, and food on the outdoor grill puts it all together. Overlooking many acres of restored wetlands, Viansa is a beautiful place with beautiful views to spend an afternoon at.

Fun winery, lots of history. I need to go back because I think I lost most of my memory from that day.

Fun place. Nice Cab and Merlot. Also produce olive oil and vinegar on the property. The owners manage a famous band – but we won’t let the cat out of the bag. They also have a couple special functions each year - one of which is the annual BR Cohn music festival. The tasting room is small and cozy and the people working there when we went were a lot of fun.
