2000 Chateau Ste. Michelle
Columbia Valley Gewurztraminer
Some nice full peach flavors, spiciness and a bit of sweetness make this a nice match to the fillets.
1998 Trimbach
Gewurztraminer
A ton of nice aromas make this complex white wine from Alsace, France a winner on it’s own. Match it up with the fillets and you have one nice pairing. The wine calms down some of the heat and spice of the fillets with it’s crispness, full flavors and balanced acidity.
1999 Jekel
Monterey County Riesling
Refreshing in a fruit driven way, with vibrant flavors and bouquet. A nice off-dry style that will give your mouth plenty to think about when you are waiting for you next piece of fish. Another nice match.
1999 Murphy-Goode
Alexander Valley Gewurztraminer
Alexander Valley Gewurz rocks. Mouthfeel is great and the fruit flavors are upfront in your face and very expressive. Some crispness to match. A bottle or two of this can calm down any red-hot chilly pepper.
