Not in semi-documentary style-wonderful story, as all his previous books, notes about his own life – and this artwork with a fictional heroes – garage winemakers.

ridley_scottWhat Ridley? Ridley, finished with promotional toys of youth, threw such minor things like three-minute clips, and began to make a great movie. Very large. Such that there is probably a man on earth, which at least one of his films and do not look.

Because it was not some sort of simple Ridley, and – the real Ridley Scott. A friend of our wonderful young Peter. The most popular and prolific British-French writer Peter Maylie, singer wine of Provence.

We start from afar. Peter Ridley and friends from his youth. In the old seventies they met in London, when both worked in the advertising business. Peter was inclined to write the text, he worked as writers, but Ridley was always able to easily lift a pretty picture for an advertising clip.

The Dutch are somewhat similar to the Japanese. Also occupy the land by the sea, like flowers, working like crazy, constantly learning. They invented the stock market, newspapers, and gin. I taught Peter to build ships, to swear in Dutch, smoking his pipe and drinking punch. – Yes, that’s interesting: the phenomenal performance in this nation go hand in hand with the outbursts of indiscriminate drinking (here the parallel ends with the Japanese).

Cool Wine Art

cool-wine-artWell folks, we have just discovered some wine art that would actually look good. These paintings are not the usual ho-hum, boring paintings of a cluster of grapes in a basket, or a surreal vineyard with a majestic Chateau in the distance. Nope, these pieces have some personality and gusto. They jump out at you and say, “Drink me”. I like that.

Charles Kaufman is the artist, and wine bottles are his focus. This is just one series of paintings that he creates with oil and acrylic paints on stretched canvas. The paintings can be customized to the buyers’ desire, and Mr. Kaufman can and will feature a special wine, date, or graphic on the label. Canvas size can also be customized.
