Syrah

Its name sounds almost like a cheer–”When Johnny comes marching home again, Syrah, Syrah”– and fans of this high-quality red wine grape have something to cheer about as the varietal is poised to overtake Merlot as one of the most popular red table wines.

The Syrah grape is a noble grape, and the premier wine grape of the Rhone Valley (in Southern France). It is also grown in Australia, where it is known as shiraz and often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon; South Africa and California. The grape is often confused with the sound-alike Petit Sirah, which is another varietal altogether.

Levin

Levin red wine from any wine, which have so far been pridelovalo Bizeljsko-Sremič the district. It has a dark red purple color, which could resemble the kind of Mediterranean wine, but wine is completely different structure.

The wine is intense ruby Levin red, violet and brick odtenki.Vonj is a medium intense, fruity nose Mon plum, leather, crust of bread, coffee and dark chocolate kančku. Pleasant and open. Good drinkability on first contact. Tannins are mostly aligned, soft and well hang out with lively acid. Red fruit is always present in the mouth.

Blessing the Harvest – Field Stone Winery

This time of year, along with gondolas trundling down the road and crushers running night and day, many of the wineries in the Napa Valley and Sonoma County – and probably every other wine grape growing region in California – are calling on the good services of local prelates to bless the harvest as the first load of the vintage arrives.
