Vine Cliff Winery has arisen to beautiful restoration in the past two decades by the Sweeney family, sensitive to the site’s 1871 roots.


Though the winemaking facility is state of the art, the operation is small enough to allow attention to detail such as hand selection of the grapes. Grapes from the cooler Carneros region are combined with more central Napa fruit, both from Rutherford and the winery’s estate in Oakville.

The wine boasts ripeness in the immense fruit. Elements of dusty black cherry, classic Bordeaux-like currant, along with nice spice abound. Every flavor fits together with the other. The length of this result is long and delightful.
