VISIT TO Espelt VITICULTORS

Building on the principle of Summer Vacation, and encouraged by the success with which the winery, the publicity makes it, and that he had recently tested the Kasumi , I went to Vilajuïga to visit.

Xavier was waiting for us, its commercial director, who showed us the facilities, took us to visit some of the wineries offering tasting and ended up with almost the entire range Espelt.


Espelt 250Ha with vineyards and nearly 65% of the exported product, has become one of the largest and most modern wineries in the DO Empordà.

In an idyllic setting, surrounded by two natural parks (Alberes and Cap de Creus), the girls are divided strains prominence with the centenarian cariñena, thus offering a list of products to suit all tastes.

But instead of frustrated, we stay, we visited the winery (my second time in 3 months) to retest its magnificent wines and end up in the farmhouse owned by the family to 5 minutes from the winery to share a meal spectacular and a very interesting talk with the guests.
